“Beanie”
(French Bulldog)
Beanie is our token French Bulldog girl. We have always been interest Frenchie’s and when one became available, we couldn’t say no.
Beanie has been a lot of fun and SO DIFFERENT than our Golden Retrievers. Still, all get along very well although Beanie secretly keeps everyone in line (or so she thinks!)

Beanie, our token French Bulldog, is definitely the “clown” of our doggy family. She keeps us humble with her rugged, bulldog personality that is as loving as any Golden could ever be (only, she calls “dibs” on the toys, doggy beds, and “her peeps”! And the other dogs listen to all of her 22 lb self!!)
While up in the mountains spring 2020, Beanie spotted a deer. Now there are deer EVERYWHERE “in the moutnains”; the other dogs may bark at them but in general, they leave them alone. Not Beanie! Beanie only THOUGHT she could chase a deer down the side of a mountain and up the next mountain! Beanie was NOT HAPPY that this behavior “bought her” being tethered while outside until the permanent fencing was completed. (HUGE THANKS to hubby who “retrieved” Beanie from two mountains over from where we started clogging through 3 feet of snow! SO GLAD that now that the fencing has been completed, this will no longer be a problem!)
